Corine Duke Recruitment
City of Sydney
Customer Service & Logistics Administrator
Corine Duke Recruitment Pty Ltd – Mount Druitt NSW
Customer Service Officer | Mount Druitt, NSW (Western Sydney) | Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 + Super
Why This One's Worth A Look
I have partnered with a growing, community-minded manufacturer of building products who is looking for an experienced customer service professional to be the face of a smaller, close-knit site.
Full time permanent role with real ongoing training and development
Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 + Super.
Based in the Mount Druitt area, your own transport is preferred given limited public transport options.
Monday - Friday. No weekends, no shift work. Hours are 6:30am-4:30pm.
A genuine path forward: the Branch Manager at this site started in this very role and was trained and promoted through the business.
A varied role: front-of-house, admin, and behind-the-scenes production and logistics support, never just one thing, no 2 days will be the same.
Supportive, friendly & busy company culture with regular team, community and sporting activities
The Impact You'd Make
You'll be the face of a busy site, the first person customers, drivers, and visitors meet, and the glue that keeps the office, production and logistics teams connected.
Greet customers, suppliers, drivers and contractors, and manage incoming calls as the first point of contact onsite.
Handle customer quotes, order processing and stock management, keeping everything accurate and moving.
Coordinate with the production and logistics teams on schedules, deliveries and daily truck runs.
Process payments and handle day-to-day admin, keeping the office running smoothly.
If you love being the person who makes a busy site run smoothly, and being genuinely trusted to do it, this is the role.
What You'll Bring
You don't need a manufacturing background to thrive here,
you need real customer service experience and a genuinely upbeat, helpful attitude, whether that's from an office, retail, hospitality or fast-food environment.
At least 2-3 years of genuine customer service, reception or admin experience.
A warm, confident, upbeat personality, you're happy being the face of the business.
Comfortable with basic admin and data entry, or a quick and willing learner.
Interested in manufacturing and logistics operations
Your own transport, as public transport options in the area are limited.
You will need to have full Australian working rights.
You may already have reception, office, admin experience and are looking for your next role, or perhaps you've built genuine customer service experience in retail, hospitality or fast food and you're ready to bring it into an office environment, this could be exactly the move you're looking for to continue your career in operations.
Who You'd Be Working With
You'll join a smaller, close-knit team of around 10 people onsite, reporting to a Branch Manager who started in this very role and knows firsthand what it takes to succeed in it.
You'll occasionally head to the St Marys site for team events, and you'll be part of a business that's genuinely active in its local community and sporting initiatives, not just on paper.
You will have exposure to the whole business, from office, sales, logistics, production and senior leaders. This is a great opportunity to continue growing your operations career.
