Experienced Multiskilled Operators Required for a Bauxite Mine site in Far North QLD

Your current company

Join a leading bauxite mining operation in Far North Queensland, producing and exporting bauxite to international markets. This site offers a supportive team culture, quality camp facilities, and a family-friendly 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster. FIFO options are available from Cairns and Townsville, with meals and accommodation provided throughout your swing.

Your new role

You will be responsible for operating a combination of production equipment, predominantly loaders with the occasional use of excavators and rollers, while supporting daily mining activities. This role requires versatility, adaptability and the ability to safely operate multiple pieces of plant equipment in a production-focused environment.

What you'll need to succeed

- Minimum 2 years' experience operating loaders, excavators and rollers




- Previous experience in bauxite mining or quarry operations highly regarded
- Current RIIMPO320F - Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations
- Current RIIMPO301E - Conduct Hydraulic Excavator Operations
- Current RIIMPO321F - Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations
- Current RIIMPO304E - Conduct Wheel Loader Operations
- Strong safety focus and commitment to site procedures
- Ability to work day and night shifts on a 15/13 roster
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
