MRT PT Role:

A full time Physiotherapy role - covering the South / South Eastern and Mornington Peninsula regions of Melbourne. Our team predominantly work within the Home Care Package / Support at Home funding. Our mentoring / peer supervision program will set you up for success - See the below of what some of the tasks you will be completing:

Understand the role of Community Physiotherapy within Aged Care (Home care package and MAC funding streams)





Complete functional mobility/balance assessments, gait assessments, exercise prescription and program development via our online system, equipment prescription, report writing and home exercise program development.

Travel (approx 30 - 40 minutes) within your local area

Develop consumer centered goals using our client profile system and plan tailored therapy

Work in a respectful and supportive team, focusing on learning and professional development

Work in a team setting that supports on the job training and ongoing mentoring

Onboarding looks something like this:

0 - 4 Week observation period (spend time observing and being around of Allied Health Team and Operations team) Get to know everyone!

Bonus Incentives each month

Paid Maternity Leave (up to $5,000.00) retention bonus

Slow gradual build up of a clinical case load - Approximately 3 months till a full case load

Constant communication with team leaders and operations team in the first 3 months

1 on 1 60 minute supervision weekly

Access to pre recorded content videos, resources hub and access to our peer support groups

Non compulsory Friday in the office day (learning, lunching and laughing!)

Professional Development allowance - $1500 per year towards your professional development and areas of interest, plus in house training and weekly support

Care Coordination team: Limited admin... You heard it right - Our coordination team completes all initial booking, invoicing, client on boarding so that you can provide your service.

What you need:

Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy

Current AHPRA registration

CPR and First Aid Certification (or we can help you get this)

Drives Licence

Minimum 6-12 months of physiotherapy experience required
