We're working with a growing commercial law firm looking to appoint a senior commercial lawyer to help lead and expand an already established practice.

This isn't a role where you're expected to arrive with a large client following.

- The work is already there.
- The clients are already there.
- The platform is already established.

What the firm is looking for is a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working with business owners, leading people and helping build something for the long term. You'll work across a broad range of commercial and transactional matters including:
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Commercial contracts
- Shareholder and business structuring advice
- Corporate advisory work
- General commercial transactions

Importantly, you'll inherit an established commercial practice generating approximately $1 million in annual fees , supported by strong referral relationships and an experienced leadership team.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Associate,



Special Counsel or Principal who is technically strong but now wants greater ownership, influence and responsibility.

The role offers genuine scope to:

- Lead and grow the commercial practice
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers
- Build long-term client relationships
- Shape the future direction of the practice
- Progress to Partnership (or step directly into Partnership for the right person)
