About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Clinical Dietitian to join our team.Working in a supportive multi-disciplinary environment, this role focuses on providing effective and efficient evidence-based Nutrition services to patients.

The positions responsibilities include but are not limited to; accurately assessing and implementing appropriate clinical management for patients, prioritising and managing a caseload effectively, supervision of Grade 1 Dietitians, and student Dietitians, participation in policy review and maintaining data and records.The workload includes Inpatient services, and Community and Outpatient services on a rotational basis. Experience with paediatrics will be highly favourable.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to participate in team and department meetings,



training, continuing education, committees and quality programs. This position offers an prospect for growth and the development in leadership, innovation and dietetic clinical skills.

What you bring

- University Qualification that meets the Accreditation guidelines of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a Grade 2 role preferred, or a broad range of experience as a Grade 1 or minimum 4 years' experience in Dietetics.
- Commitment to ongoing education and career development.
- Experience in Clinical Nutrition preferred.
- Experience in paediatric clinical nutrition desirable.
- Demonstrated broad range clinical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to work in partnership with other team members and stake-holders.
