We are a well-established law firm located on Brisbane’s southside, currently seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancer / Property Lawyer to join our team in a full-time role at our suburban office.

About the Role
In this role, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of residential and commercial property transactions , managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement. This is a hands‑on position offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work closely with institutional investors, developers, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end conveyancing for residential and commercial sales, purchases, transfers, and refinances.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely settlements.
- Conduct property searches and manage all necessary enquiries.
- Prepare and manage all legal documentation and contracts related to property transactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely file management throughout the process.
- Oversee conveyancing files and mentor junior team members and paralegals.
- Engage in business development and foster strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in end-to-end residential and commercial conveyancing.
- Solid organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

- A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Confidence in dealing with clients and all parties involved in the transaction.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using LEAP legal software.
- Strong working knowledge of the PEXA electronic settlement platform.
