About the role

This is an ONGOING fulltime position. The valuer will be required to provide valuation advice and undertake complex, urgent and sensitive valuations. The role requires strong stakeholder relationships, sound judgement, and the ability to deliver high-quality valuation services within agreed timeframes.

The role supports infrastructure projects through property research and advice, manages external valuation services, provides policy advice to government, negotiates valuation outcomes, contributes to policy and process improvements, and promotes culturally secure, inclusive practices across all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications and experience

Youllbring:

- Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status, membership with the Australian Property Institute (API), and a relevant tertiary qualification (mandatory).




- Knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, Planning and Environment Act 1987 and other relevant legislation.
- Strong knowledge, government processes, and land administration.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and a current drivers licence.
