Cumberland Country Golf Club is seeking an experienced Greenkeeper / Groundsperson to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the pristine playing surfaces and landscaping of our prestigious golf course located in Greystanes, NSW.
What you'll be doing
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and aerating fairways, greens, and other turf areas
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and machinery
- Assist with the implementation of integrated pest management programs
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal soil moisture levels
- Identify and address any issues or hazards to ensure the golf course is safe and well-presented
- Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Greenkeeper or Grounds person in a golf course or similar setting but not essential
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of various landscaping equipment and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Passion for maintaining exceptional playing conditions and a well-presented golf course
- Current driver's license and willingness to obtain relevant licenses and certifications
