About the role
Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at The Doctors Fred Thomas to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical center leadership.
Located in Takapuna, Auckland
This is a permanent position working 32-40 hours across 4-5 days from Monday to Friday.

Do you have what we are looking for?
- A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
- Experience in Primary Care setting preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical practice preferred
- Current vaccinator certificate - working toward completion or current
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable
- Willing to continually learn and improve
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
- You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
- Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
- Computer literate
