About the role
The organisation is seeking a Payroll Project Specialist to support a significant UKG implementation project. This role offers the chance to engage in a pivotal payroll transformation, ensuring that the project meets its objectives leading up to go-live.
Key responsibilities
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of UKG system configuration
- Execute and document test cases across payroll and workforce management processes
- Validate payroll rules, leave entitlements, award interpretation and workflow configurations
- Identify, log and track defects through to resolution
- Liaise with project teams, implementation partners and key business stakeholders
- Follow test scripts and navigate systems
- Validate employee data and system integrations
- Provide support to end users during the implementation phase.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in payroll, ideally within large or complex organisations
- Strong capability in payroll system implementations or upgrades
- Demonstrated ability to work with UKG, Kronos or similar workforce management/payroll systems
- Excellent UAT, testing and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across project and operational teams
- Available to commence immediately.
