Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate assessments of necessary repairs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in automotive technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic,
preferably in a similar automotive service environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively to identify issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Positive communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to supervise apprentices.
- Right to work in Australia.
