Oakwood Epping Melbourne, managed by The Ascott Limited,now seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join asMaintenance Officer. Oakwood Epping Melbourne is set to open its doors in October 2026.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Performing preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure building facilities, equipment and guest areas are maintained to a high standard.

Conducting routine inspections of property assets, safety equipment, essential services, and recreational facilities to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

Responding promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns and repairs while minimising disruption to guests and daily operations.

Working collaboratively with department leaders and team members to address maintenance requirements and support property operations.

Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental standards, company policies and statutory requirements.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management, building services or a similar maintenance workplace.





Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, building systems, preventative maintenance and regulatory compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with guests, contractors and internal stakeholders.

The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and remain flexible to meet operational and after-hours maintenance requirements.
