Denman Medical Practice is seeking a full or part time Registered Nurse to join our team. This role will be Monday – Friday, with set days and work hours to be discussed during the interview process. The successful candidate will be covering for our current full time Registered Nurse while she is on maternity leave and will then continue when she returns part-time.

Wages will be paid in accordance with the Nurses Award and will reflect the successful candidate’s level of experience and skills. This role will include a 6-month probationary period.

Daily Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Triage and emergency patient care

Medication administration including injectable medications and vaccines

Wound care management

Venepuncture

Other duties to be discussed during the interview process

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience preferred in General Practice

Evidence ofappropriateand continuing Skilled Indemnity Insurance

Current CPR certificate

Current Working with Children Check





Current National Police Check

Currently residing in Australia (We are unable to provide sponsorship for overseas applicants)

Eligibility to work in Australia

Nurse Immunisation certification (or willingness to obtain)

Venepuncture qualification (or willingness to obtain)

Other Attributes:

Competency in wound care, medication administration and cold chain management

Desired competencies: Ear Syringing, Cervical Screening Testing

Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the practice team

Proficient in using clinical software and technology to support patient care

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Flexibility to cover shifts during leave periods if required
