About the Role

In this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to advocating for children and aligning with Insight Early Learning’s philosophy of Wisdom, Innovation, Sustainability and Equity.

You will lead and support play-based learning experiences, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.

A regular day in this role will involve:

- Leading the Preschool educational program in line with the EYLF and NQF

- Creating safe, engaging, and play-based learning environments that support children's development

- Using the setting as the "third teacher", incorporating open-ended resources and loose parts

- Supporting children's social, emotional,



cognitive, and physical development

- Building strong partnerships with families and the wider community

- Collaborating with educators, the Room Leader, and Educational Leader to reflect on and strengthen educational practices

- Following Insight Early Learning's philosophy, policies, and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or similar qualification (must have)

- A current and valid Working with Children Check (must have)

- Previous experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- A sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development

- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

- A collaborative approach and commitment to contributing to a positive team culture

- A genuine passion for creating nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environments for children
