The Opportunity

We're seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our compassionate team at our Gold Coast (Coombabah) Community Vet Clinic on a Fixed-Term part-time (28.5 hours a week) basis, plus one weekend every four. You'll be working with a team of highly skilled and passionate veterinary professionals under the banner of one of the most respected brands in animal welfare. If you are passionate about making a direct impact on animal welfare, we'd love to talk to you. This is a high-volume, fast-paced clinic where you will gain excellent exposure across the entire veterinary practice. You must be of a calm disposition with the ability to thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver high-quality veterinary care and ensure the well-being of all patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide education, advice, and support.
- Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff to achieve the best outcomes.
- Uphold AWLQ's commitment to keeping pets and people together, ensuring that animals receive the care they need regardless of their owner's financial situation.

Essential Skills and Attributes

- Tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science and current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.
- Robust clinical and surgical skills with a compassionate approach to animal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage diverse cases and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
