Property Maintenance Technician / All-Rounder Handyperson

Dubbo Repairs & Maintenance is looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Technician / All-Rounder to join our team.

This role is suited to someone mature, reliable, well-presented and capable of dealing with customers professionally while completing maintenance and repair work to a high standard.

You will be working across commercial and residential maintenance jobs throughout Dubbo and surrounding areas. Our clients include businesses, qualified clients, elderly customers, NDIS-related clients, homeowners and commercial sites, so presentation, communication and professionalism are extremely important.

This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to work independently when required, work with an offsider when needed, think on your feet, communicate clearly, and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.

The type of work may include:

- Plastering and painting
- Remediation and make-good works
- Door repairs and minor carpentry
- Tiling repairs
- Basic non-licensed plumbing-style maintenance
- Commercial maintenance
- Residential maintenance
- Fit-out and repair work
- Make-safe works
- General handyman and property maintenance repairs

What we are looking for:

- Experience in maintenance, repairs, construction, plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, remediation, fit-outs or similar
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional presentation and a well-groomed appearance




- Mature attitude and ability to think on your feet
- Confidence dealing with professional clients, elderly customers, NDIS clients and homeowners
- Ability to complete digital job forms, site notes, photos, SWMS, JSA forms and workflow items through our job management software
- Ability to communicate clearly when extra work, materials or site issues are required

Required:

- Manual driver’s licence
- White Card
- Relevant hands-on maintenance or trade-related experience
- Ability to use a phone/tablet for job management software
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude

This is a full-time role with a 3-month probation period. We have an easy-going, family-style crew, but we still expect a high standard of work, communication and presentation. Good work is noticed and rewarded, and there is room to grow with the business for the right person.

Pay will depend on experience, skill level, reliability and ability to work independently.
