Pillars of Potential is a community-focused disability services provider in Lismore, dedicated to empowering people with diverse abilities through person-centered support. We value compassion, respect, collaboration, and reliability, and we're seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help clients live their best life.

As a Support Worker, you'll deliver direct, person-centered care to clients with diverse needs. You'll collaborate with participants, families, and the wider team to implement individualized support plans, promote independence, and enhance quality of life through targeted skill-building. This role blends genuine empathy with practical assistance and cross-team collaboration to support meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily living tasks (personal care, mealtime support, mobility assistance as trained)
- Support participants to participate in activities, community outings, and appointments
- Monitor wellbeing, report changes,



and escalate concerns per policy
- Communicate with participants, families, and team members in a respectful, person-centered manner
- Coordinate with allied health and community services to support goals

What We’re Looking For

- Ability to prioritise tasks within a small team.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Childrens Check.
- Applicants must hold a valid work visa or have appropriate work rights in Australia.
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities is preferred but not essential for this role.
