We are seeking an AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist to join our team, with the primary role involving site inspections and the preparation of Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) Reports.

AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist

We currently undertake arboricultural consulting work for Campbelltown City Council and Blacktown City Council, alongside a broad range of private development projects throughout Sydney.

We are seeking an AQF Level 5 Consulting Arborist to join our team, with the primary role involving site inspections and the preparation of Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) Reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake tree inspections and assessments for development sites.





- Prepare professional Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) Reports.

- Assess tree health, structure, retention value and development impacts.

- Calculate and assess NRZ and SRZ requirements in accordance with AS 4970:2025.

- Review architectural, survey and development plans.

- Provide recommendations for tree retention, removal, pruning and protection.

- Prepare tree protection plans, arborist statements and supporting documentation.

- Liaise with clients, architects, builders, consultants and Council officers.

- Undertake Project Arborist inspections and supervision where required.

Applicants must hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent, have strong tree identification and report-writing skills, and be able to work independently.

Previous consulting arboriculture and AIA report-writing experience is highly regarded.
