Heal Dental Care is looking for an experienced dental assistant who is confident chairside and open to being cross-trained in reception.
We are a family-owned dental practice in Burleigh Heads with a close-knit team of eight clinicians and nine support staff. We care about doing excellent work, treating people well and creating a workplace where everyone contributes.
This role would suit someone reliable, capable and genuinely team-minded, someone who takes pride in the details, communicates well with patients and is happy to step between clinical and front-office duties when needed.

About the role
Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Chairside assisting
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Clinical note-taking
- Stock control
- Supporting patient flow and appointment management
- Reception duties, including answering phones, booking appointments and assisting patients
- Working closely with clinicians and the wider team to create a calm, positive patient experience
We are open to full time, part-time or casual applicants. Weekend work is shared across a rotating roster, with applicable penalty rates.
An immediate start is available, although we are happy to discuss a start date that works for the right person.
About you
You’ll be someone who takes pride in their work, shows up for the team and genuinely cares about giving patients a great experience.
You will ideally have:
- Previous dental assisting experience
- A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Clear, mature communication skills
- A calm and empathetic approach with patients
- A positive, practical attitude
- The ability to work well within a busy team
- An interest in developing your reception and administration skills
Experience using D4W is helpful, but not essential.
