Position Available

VICHI PTY LTD (Royal Dynasty) is hiring FULL-TIME Wait Staff. Duties include: greeting and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, serving meals and beverages, answering menu questions, handling minor guest issues, clearing and resetting tables, and assisting with opening/closing cleaning duties. Must be friendly, well-groomed, and a team player. Located in Surfers Paradise.

Responsibilities

- Setting and arranging tables with proper cutlery, crockery, and table settings in line with the restaurant's fine-dining standards;
- Taking reservations, greeting guests warmly upon arrival, and presenting menus and beverage lists, including our extensive wine and tea selection;
- Recommending signature dishes such as seasonal seafood specials, and suggesting wines or teas that complement the meal, particularly in our fine-dining setting;
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders and relaying them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff;
- Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, and assisting with cellar operations as required;
- Clearing tables promptly and returning dishes , cutlery, and glassware to the kitchen for cleaning;
- Removing empty bottles and used glasses,



and refilling or replacing glasses throughout the meal;
- Processing payments, operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers, and handling transactions accurately;
- Assisting with banquet and function services during private events and large group bookings.

Requirements

- AQF Certificate III in Hospitality plus at least one year of relevant experience. OR at least two years of relevant experience.
- Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests; handle complaints and special requests with patience and efficiency.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff; stay calm and organised during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
