About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, you will play an significant role in supporting the Bank’s treasury activities, ensuring effective management of funding, liquidity, investments and financial market transactions.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of treasury functions, including market execution, transaction processing, reporting, risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute FX, Money Market, Fixed Income and derivative transactions within the Bank’s approved risk framework.

- Support daily treasury dealing activities, including funding, liquidity management and investment portfolio management.

- Monitor market conditions and provide insights on financial market movements and opportunities.

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of treasury transactions, including trade capture, confirmation and settlement activities.

- Prepare treasury reports and support management reporting requirements.





- Maintain strong operational controls to ensure data accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

- Assist with treasury system enhancements, process improvements and implementation of new products.

- Review treasury procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Finance, Operations, Risk and other internal stakeholders to deliver effective treasury solutions.

- Support internal and external audits and other finance-related projects.

About You

You will be a motivated finance professional with a passion for financial markets and treasury. To be successful, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Treasury, Markets, Banking or a related financial services role within Australia.

- Understanding of FX, money market products, fixed income securities and treasury operations.

- Knowledge of local and international financial markets and market dynamics.

- Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.

- Good understanding of risk management principles and banking regulations.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong teamwork skills and ability to operate within a multicultural environment.

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
