The Position: Operations Manager

Permanent position available in the Moama Office

Duties

- Manage the day-to-day operations and activities of the Mill staff
- Organize and supervise daily production to meet key performance indicators
- Support Warehouse Supervisor
- Stock control – supporting inventory management – landed costs and stocktake
- Entering Production orders into Computer Program
- Ensure Company Quality Assurance requirements are met
- Maintain QA procedures – conduct internal audits
- Assist with OH&S;

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE

- Experience working as a team leader, supervisor or management position within a manufacturing environment.
- Stockfeed industry (or similar) experience.




- Demonstrated experience managing people and promoting an effective team environment.
- Problem solving skills and solutions focused.
- Competent Microsoft Office Skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of QA & OHS beneficial but not essential
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a busy team setting.
