The Role

/n

With our current Operations Manager transitioning to pursue a personal passion in organic farming, we are seeking a frontline operational leader to guide Belmondos Wholefoods through its next chapter.

/n

Our outgoing manager successfully built a world‐class, data‐driven operational foundation - including a complete transition to Square POS and external ERP for inventory management. With these robust back‐end systems firmly in place, the role is evolving.

We now require a visible, customer‐focused leader to take the reins on the shop floor, prioritizing exceptional customer service, staff coaching, and immaculate retail presentation.

You will be leading a passionate team while working alongside high‐caliber managers across our other businesses who collectively share common goals, values, and work ethics.

Key Responsibilities

/n

- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and empower the retail team (including the Shop Manager, Fresh Produce Manager, Inventory Manager, and Office Administrator) to deliver customer‐focused service.

Operational Excellence:



Maintain strict daily standards of store presentation, product rotation, food safety, and WHS compliance.

/n

/n

- Data‐Driven Inventory: Leverage Square POS and Supply'd ERP to ensure all purchasing is based on sales velocity and strict par levels.

/n

- Supplier Management: Proactively manage supplier partnerships, prioritizing direct purchasing from growers and importers to maximize customer value.

/n

- Financial Accountability: Drive rigorous commercial performance by actively managing wage‐to‐sales ratios and achieving defined Gross Profit targets.

/n

- Stock Integrity: Execute perpetual stocktake rotations to keep stock variance and wastage strictly below company thresholds.

About You

/n

/n

- You have demonstrable experience and a genuine passion for organic produce and wholefoods.

/n

- You are an operational leader who leads from the front and sets the standard on the shop floor.

/n

- You possess a disciplined eye for visual merchandising and a zero‐tolerance approach to poor customer service.

/n

- You are commercially firm, comfortable holding staff and suppliers accountable to transparent performance boundaries.

/n

- You are highly competent with modern retail tech stacks (Square POS, ERP systems) and translating data into actionable floor‐level decisions.
