Scheduler (Transport and Social Support) | Full-time - Office hours - Immediate Start

Hourly base rate: $37.87
/n
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Scheduler/Service Assistant to facilitate Transport and Social Support services that help our clients remain active and engaged in the community.
/n
This is a dynamic, client-focused role where you will:
/n
/n
- Assist the Coordinator in the planning, scheduling and delivery of Transport and Social Support Individual services for clients to access the community.
/n
- Assist the Coordinator to roster staff.
/n
- Assist the Coordinator to ensure that client information is maintained with regular evaluation of client needs and changes.
/n
- Uphold wellness and client focused service delivery principles in all activities/tasks.
/n
- On occasions you may be required to drive People Who Care vans and cars and provide social support.
/n/n
What you will need:
/n
/n
- Demonstrated experience working with the elderly, people with disability and/or people experiencing hardships.
/n
- A caring and compassionate approach to service provision.
/n
- Knowledge of relevant community services.
/n
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
/n
- Ability to work with individuals from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.
/n
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
/n
- Basic computer skills.
/n
- Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months)
/n
- Certificate III or IV in Health, Ageing Support, Individual Support or Community Services.
/n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
/n
- Experience working in a not for profit organisation.
/n
- Experience working with volunteers.
/n/n
