We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Plumber Technician to join our team in Berrimah, NT. This full-time role is key to supporting our service operations, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of chemical dosing systems across the Northern Territory.
What you’ll be doing
- Installation and servicing of chemical dosing systems, including pumps, pipework, and containment
- Maintenance and repair of chlorine gas and liquid chemical systems
- Installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation piping and associated equipment
- Assisting with commissioning of system upgrades and refits
- Supporting site-based projects and responding to service callouts
- Maintaining safety standards and contributing to a collaborative work environment
What we’re looking for
- Mechanical or plumbing trade qualification with relevant experience
- Experience working with chemical dosing or water treatment systems (preferred)
- Understanding of secure chemical handling practices and PPE requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence; forklift licence is an advantage
