Chef – Cobram Hotel

Cobram Hotel is looking for a motivated and experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team in Cobram, Victoria.

We are seeking a chef who is passionate about preparing quality food, takes pride in their work and can perform well in a rapid-paced hospitality environment.

About the role

As a Chef at Cobram Hotel, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting meals to a high standard

- Working across a varied pub-style menu, including daily specials

- Ensuring food quality, consistency and portion control

- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

- Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen preparation

- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

- Contributing to menu ideas and seasonal specials

- Supporting other kitchen staff as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

- Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of food preparation,



cooking techniques and food safety requirements

- The ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A reliable, positive and professional attitude

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
