Small Things Hospitality Group runs some of Brisbane's best-loved venues — Remy's (Paddington), Hai Hai (West End & Paddington) and King Tea (Paddington). We're growing our floor and bar teams across all of them and we're looking for people who want to deliver high-quality service and management in our little venues.

Full transparency, we haven't always focused on high quality service, but this is now a key part of our strategy and we're looking for like-minded people who want to put the "hospitable" back into hospitality.

We're hiring across levels and across hours — casual, part-time and full-time — with a particular focus on:

- Baristas & Head Baristas who take pride in great coffee and running a smooth, efficient coffee station

- Quality Section Waiters with proven experience in sales and delivering high-quality, memorable service

- Assistant Managers ready to support operations and lead teams with high standards

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The people who make it about the customer, every time; warm, outgoing and easy to be around service-led people who guests remember and ask for when they return.

You know your sequence of service and you actually enjoy the rhythm of it.

You're comfortable selling — not by being pushy, just knowledgeable and confident in the menus while guiding guests to the right things.

Professional mind reader — knowing what customers want before they ask and enjoys making the customer feel like they are looked after from start to finish.

The sort of person who is energised by their own contributions to the team,



who can have a excellent time on the floor without ever dropping the important jobs

IF YOU'RE READY TO LEAD (SECTION LEADER / SUPERVISOR / ASSISTANT MANAGER)

You earn trust and respect by leading from the floor, not from a laptop. We're looking for confident to direct leaders who put the customer first and build a team around them that supports one another in that goal.

You hold high standards for yourself and coach and encourage your team to meet them by setting a explicit tone by way of the example you demonstrate in your own skills and accountability.

For Assistant Manager roles: experience supporting venue operations, rostering, and developing staff is highly regarded

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Genuine hospitality experience

- Availability across nights and weekends RSA (or willing to get one)

- Ability to stay calm, focused and present

- Section skills; e.g. barista strength, bar skills, customer service, sales/upselling and delivering high-quality service
