We’re on the hunt for a reliable and hardworking Shed Assistant/Labourer to join our busy steel workshop in Sandgate. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with a solid work ethic, keen to develop skills in the steel fabrication industry. For the right candidate, there’s an opportunity to step into a boiler making apprenticeship.

Your Day-to-Day Duties:
Drilling, painting, prepping steel beams
Operating a forklift to move and organise steel
Keeping the workshop clean, protected, and well organised
Assisting boilermakers with daily tasks and projects

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a workshop or similar setting (preferred)
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Strong attention to detail and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and a TEAM PLAYER

Bonus:
Interest in pursuing a boilermaking apprenticeship/workshop experience
Power tool knowledge or trade exposure
Truck licences training
