Drumbee Plant & Civil Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our growing civil construction team in Sydney.
This is a full-time position working on a range of civil infrastructure projects including stormwater, sewer, drainage and utility installations.
Responsibilities
Install stormwater, sewer and drainage pipelines
Read and interpret construction plans
Set out works using laser levels and survey information
Operate excavators where required
Excavate and prepare trenches
Install pits, headwalls and associated drainage structures
Ensure all work is completed safely and to specification
Work effectively within a civil construction crew
Maintain a clean and secure work environment
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Drainer
Experience working on Australian civil construction projects preferred
White Card
Current driver’s licence
Ability to read civil drawings
Strong understanding of WHS requirements
Excavator experience is highly regarded
GPS machine control experience (Topcon or Trimble) is advantageous
