We seek an experienced Principal Network Engineer to provide technical leadership across a large and complex enterprise network workplace supporting operations throughout the APAC region.
The successful candidate will lead network-related initiatives, provide technical oversight of solution designs and work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery of network services and projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of network projects and initiatives.
Review and validate network solution designs.
Translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions.
Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies.
Contribute to network architecture, standards and governance.
Support cloud networking,
SD-WAN and network security initiatives.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and service providers.
Engage with business stakeholders, architects and vendors.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in enterprise networking environments.
Solid knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, SD-WAN and network security.
Experience delivering or reviewing enterprise network solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives.
Experience working with vendors and managed service providers.
Fortinet experience preferred; robust Cisco, Palo Alto or equivalent considered.
