Duties include:
Consulting with clients about haircut, style, colour and treatment requirements.
Cutting, trimming, styling, colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair.
Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches.
Applying hair treatments, including conditioning and scalp treatments.
Advising clients on hair care, hairstyles and suitable products.
Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards in the salon.
Using clippers, scissors, razors and other hairdressing tools safely.
Bleaching, tinting, colouring and highlighting hair.
Performing chemical straightening or permanent waving where required.
Recommending and selling hair care products.
Cleaning work areas and sanitising tools and equipment.




Scheduling appointments and maintaining client records where required.

Requirements:
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Robust customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced salon setting.
