An established and growing financial planning practice in Toowoomba is seeking a Client Service Officer to join its professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administration professional who enjoys working with clients and supporting a team of experienced advisers.
The practice provides personalised financial advice to individuals and families, helping clients achieve their financial goals through quality advice, strong relationships and exceptional service. Working closely with Financial Advisers, Administration and Paraplanning teams, you will play an key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of financial advice.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and is motivated by providing excellent client service.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and processing client applications and implementation paperwork
Implementing financial planning recommendations and following matters through to completion
Liaising with clients, superannuation funds, investment platforms, insurers and external providers
Following up outstanding applications, transactions and documentation
Preparing and maintaining accurate client files and records
Providing administration support to the wider financial planning team
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
You will be professional, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high level of service.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in a Client Service Officer, administration or similar role within financial planning, financial services or qualified services
Robust organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating with clients and external providers
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
