This role is a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) based across FMG, BHP, io Tinto sites and many more!
Techforce Personnel are currently seeking experienced HSE Advisors for FIFO prospects across Western Australia. These positions support major mining, construction, maintenance, shutdown and sustaining capital projects with leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in promoting a solid safety culture, supporting operational teams and ensuring compliance with site-specific safety management systems, legislative requirements and client standards.
Roster options may include 2:1, 8:6, and shutdown-based assignments across various WA mine sites.
Duties/responsibilities –
Review and development of site-specific secure operating procedures.
Providing regular WHS statistical reports to the management teams.
Providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.
Coordination and delivery of toolbox and pre-start meetings.
Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements
Coordinate safety programs to fulfill contractual obligations.
Maintain relevant safety registers, including the project training matrix.
Conduct inspections & audits ensuring compliance
Facilitate training and inductions
Accident/Incident Investigation & Reporting.
Review & development of risk assessments.
To be successful you will have –
Certificate IV in WHS (or relevant tertiary qualification)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
ICAM (Desirable)
FMG, BHP, Rio inductions or willing to obtain
