Role Description:

This is a contract role for a General Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist. The Psychologist will be responsible for predominantly providing individual therapy and developing treatment plans, with opportunities to conduct psychological assessments. This is a hybrid role, with work being performed at home and in office at Wynyard Medical Centre.

Qualifications and Experience:
Excellent communication and listening skills
Knowledge of best-practice interventions
Experience working with diverse populations
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Minimum one year experience with demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practices
Generally Registered or Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA registered)
It is desirable that you hold a Medicare Provider Number (though, support can be given to attain this).

About You:
Experience working with NDIS clients is highly desirable




Experience working with clients across the lifespan who present with various presentations
Ability to work independently and able to commit to the clients referred to you by Calm Minds Clinic (at a minimum of two days per week)
Own ABN (or have willingness to obtain one)
Own computer/ laptop to engage with clients who prefer to be seen via Telehealth (must also have stable internet connection and a private workspace whilst working from home).

Current Police check
Current Working with Children (WWC) check
