We currently have an opportunity for an Internal Sales Person with a focus on Retail/Counter Sales, to join our Toowoomba branch. This position would ideally suit someone with a passion for customer service combined with previous experience in Retail and/or Industrial sales. With full on the job training provided for the right candidate this is a great prospect for someone looking to advance their career in Sales.

As a key member of our team, you'll:
Will be dealing with both the public and account customers through counter sales and phone enquiries.
Prepare quotes and conduct after-sale follow-ups




Be working closely with all departments of Southern Steel whilst maintaining strong customer relations with external clients.

Applicants will ideally possess the following skills and abilities;
Previous customer service/sales experience in Retail and/or Industrial sales
Previous Steel Industry Knowledge ( advantageous )
High level of attention to detail
The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
Strong work ethic and high level of commitment to customer service
Excellent communications skills
