Samboy Pizzas Pty Ltd is seeking Qualified Chef to join our talented team in South Townsville. There are full-time opportunities available for passionate chefs to showcase their culinary expertise in our vibrant hospitality establishment.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and cook high-quality Mediterranean meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
-Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service
-Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities adhere to health and safety standards
-Contribute to the development and refinement of menus to delight our customers
-Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
-Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
-Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety including record keeping.
-Monitoring food quality, stock rotation and minimising waste.
-Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
-Supporting the training and development of other junior kitchen team members where required.





Skills and Experience Required

-Proven experience as a Mediterranean Chef in a similar hospitality environment
-Strong culinary skills and expertise in a range of cooking techniques
-Excellent time management and organisational abilities
-Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
-Passionate about using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create delicious dishes
-Effective communication and teamwork skills
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
