As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking a self-driven HD Mechanic to join our Naval Base workshop. This role suits someone who thrives in a small team workplace and takes pride in owning end-to-end maintenance across a wide-ranging fleet.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment, including:
Cranes (20–350T), trucks, light vehicles, EWPs, scissor lifts, telehandlers, generators and more
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
Planning and prioritising daily maintenance tasks
Working independently with a strong focus on safety and quality
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records

About You
You will bring:
Trade qualification as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience maintaining a wide range of plant and equipment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems (preferred)
Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
Solid communication skills and a safety-first mindset
