Summary:

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall presentation of the resort. This position involves overseeing housekeeping staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising and coordinating daily housekeeping operations.
Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.




Assign tasks to Room Attendants strategically to maintain productivity and minimize operational costs while meeting cleanliness standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring prompt resolution.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labour costs effectively.
Implement and maintain health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a managerial/ supervisory capacity.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Valuable communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
