RESTAURANT MANAGER NEEDED FOR PREMIUM SEAFOOD AND STEAK RESTAURANT

About the Business

Blowfish operates as a premium seafood and steak restaurant and bar located in Broadbeach,

Queensland, offering high-end dine-in hospitality services. The restaurant specialises in fresh

locally sourced seafood, premium steak selections, curated wines, cocktails and full table service

dining.

In light of our continued growth within the industry, we are currently seeking an experienced

Restaurant Manager to join us to help support business growth and several upcoming large-

scale events, and to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities associated with this position include:

 Plan and organise special functions and events.

 Supervise, train and coordinate front of house staff.

 Prepare staff rosters and manage staffing requirements.

 Coordinate reservations,



table allocations and ensure smooth service delivery and flow.

 Monitor restaurant performance, daily takings and operational costs.

 Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions.

 Ensure the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations.

 Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure effective operations and high service

standards.

Qualifications/Experience:

 AFQ Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (relevant experience can substitute

for the formal qualifications depending on the candidate)

 At least 12 months of industry experience

 Proven history of working in fine dining establishments highly desirable

 Dedication to working in a protected and effective manner

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
