Join National Tiles as an Assistant Manager based at our Port Melbourne store, where you will play a key leadership role in driving sales, coaching the team and maintaining high operational standards.
This is a full‑time position offering 40 hours per week on a Tue‑Sat roster .
Key Responsibilities
Support the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth store performance
Lead by example to foster a customer‑obsessed culture and deliver meaningful store experiences reflecting the highest industry standards
Coach and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales targets, budgets and operational KPIs across the full product range
Foster a collaborative, positive culture that empowers every team member to succeed through ongoing coaching, mentoring and support
Manage the end‑to‑end process from store presentation and stock management to compliance with care and accuracy
Champion a secure workplace by following our health and safety practices
About You
Proven leadership experience with a customer‑first mindset and experience meeting targets and KPIs
Results‑driven, commercially astute and motivated about achieving business goals
Skilled at coaching teams, managing priorities and supporting others to reach their potential
Strong communicator who leads by example and builds high‑performance cultures
Quick to adapt, multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
