You will be responsible for the integrity of the general ledger, day-to-day accounting operations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support management decisions.

Manage the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
Prepare and lodge BAS and GST returns, ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist with the company’s annual financial audit and income tax return.
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls in line with group policies and governance procedures.
Make financial recommendations on operational aspects and identify risks and opportunities to improve performance and productivity.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate cost allocation across business entities and departments.
Manage and monitor fixed assets, including depreciation and vehicle registers.
Support month end close processes, incl.
preparation of accruals, prepayments, inventory adjustments, and lease accounting schedules.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and additional month-end reporting.
Supervise AP and AR functions and provide support.
Skills and experience:
Minimums 2 years’ experience on relevant field.
A relevant tertiary qualification (heading toward to CA/CPA is a plus).
Solid communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
Have worked in a medium to large-sized enterprise
Familiarity with Accounting & reporting software: MYOB, Business Central, Power BI, Paypac.
Advanced Excel skills – minimum VLOOKUP, pivot tables.
