tekFinder has current opportunities for Senior AWS Cloud Engineers within a leading Australian tech company. This business builds and operates production‑grade platforms for large enterprise clients across the country.
Role Overview
We’re looking for robust AWS engineers/generalists who can build production systems and move across platform, infrastructure, data, AI or application problems.
Typical Week
40% hands‑on AWS build – Terraform/IaC, compute, storage, networking, IAM
30% architecture and design work with client engineering and security teams
20% translating ambiguous client problems into technical recommendations
10% contributing to reusable patterns and internal engineering practice
Qualifications
Strong hands‑on AWS experience across production systems.
Broad AWS fundamentals – compute, storage, IAM, networking, observability, managed services.
Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform.
Ability to move fluidly between architecture and hands‑on delivery.
Solid judgment on trade‑offs: cost, security, reliability, delivery.
Bonus: AWS certifications.
