Macs Engineering is a highly regarded light/medium engineering company and manufacturer and supplier of light vehicle and truck bodies, third party equipment, accessories and services to the mining, energy, infrastructure and Government sectors. Macs Engineering’s auto electrical division is looking for three experienced and qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics to join their agile and cohesive team in Mackay QLD.
Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:
Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturer’s requirements
The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing
The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order within the allocated time frame
Robust diagnostic capabilities
Sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles
Required Experience, skills and Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Ideally, you will be someone who always goes the extra mile, has a passion for what they do and above all prides themselves on their reliability
Ability to work in a team setting
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
