Excavator Operator – Civil Construction & Subdivisions

J&L; Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing civil construction team working across subdivision and infrastructure projects throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for a reliable operator with experience operating 13-50t excavators and confidence working with GPS machine control systems in fast-paced civil settings.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in a range of civil and subdivision works including:
Detailed excavation and final trim
Drainage
Bulk earthworks
Boxing roads
Working around live services and within tight tolerances
Reading plans and working from set-outs
Daily machine checks and basic maintenance
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating 13t to 50t excavators
Background in subdivisions and commercial civil construction
Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
Strong understanding of site safety and civil standards
White Card
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
VOC/tickets highly regarded
