Ready to take the next step in your risk advisory career? At RSM, our Risk Advisory Services team helps clients navigate complex governance, risk, and compliance challenges. We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join on a permanent or fixed‑term basis, with applications welcomed from Working Holiday Visa holders. The role blends technical expertise, leadership, and client engagement, offering the opportunity to lead meaningful internal audit and risk advisory projects while making a real impact in a collaborative, high‑performing workplace.

Responsibilities
Lead multiple internal audit and risk advisory engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Manage client relationships and deliver practical, value‑adding insights
Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure quality outcomes and compliance with methodology
Prepare transparent, insightful reports and support business development initiatives
Apply and promote best‑practice standards, including GIAS and ISO 31000

About you




3+ years’ experience in internal audit and/or risk advisory (professional services experience preferred)
Robust communication, report writing, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work autonomously while confidently leading teams and engagements
Solid knowledge of governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management
Relevant tertiary qualification; professional certifications (CIA, CA, CPA) highly regarded
