Remuneration : $53.43 per hour + Super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 and $2,650 for meals and entertainment
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couple and group counselling and education to strengthen family relationships.
Prevent family breakdown and ensure the wellbeing and safety of children and adults within families.
Essential Requirements
Sound knowledge of counselling and related services within a therapeutic context for clients experiencing domestic and family violence, sexual abuse, child abuse, relationship discord, grief and loss.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral and written communication and advocacy skills.
Ability to work co‑operatively within a multi‑disciplinary team in a complex human services environment.
Qualifications
Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Behavioural Science from a recognised tertiary institution and prior experience.
Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).
Current Drivers Licence.
Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
