Your recent role
The purpose of this position is to lead, direct, and oversee all financial activities to ensure business planning, financial management and compliance practices support sustainable growth and safeguard the organisation’s commercial activity in full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
Maintenance of the General Ledger
Review and manage all month-end/year-end closing
Budgeting, forecasting and planning
Monthly Management Accounts
Preparation of Statutory Reports FBT, BAS and Payroll Tax
Driving Improvements
Management of a small team
What you'll need to succeed
Strong technical skills across key accounting duties
Ability to lead a team
Understanding and experience of privately owned companies
Solid communication skills
CA or CPA qualified is preferable
Use of ERP systems, ideally including Pronto
