We are seeking a warm, organized, and professional Casual Receptionist to join our private clinical psychology practice. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for our clients—both in-person and via phone/email—ensuring they feel comfortable and supported from the moment they reach out.
This role is ideal for a person with advanced computer skills knowledge, ideally someone completing or studying a university degree (particularly in the area of psychology), with a keen eye for detail, solid communication skills, and the ability to manage a quiet, confidential professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Greeting & Care: Welcoming clients warmly upon arrival, managing waiting areas, and ensuring a calm, qualified atmosphere.
Communications: Managing incoming client inquiries via phone and email, scheduling appointments, and handling intake coordination.
Practice Administration: Processing billing, managing patient management software, and assisting with general day-to-day clinic upkeep.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict privacy and data security standards in line with healthcare practice requirements.
About You
Proven experience in reception, administration, or customer service (healthcare or professional services background is a strong advantage).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural warmth and empathy.
High-level attention to detail and strong computer literacy (comfortable navigating practice management software, calendar systems, and email platforms).
Discretion, maturity, and a high respect for client confidentiality.
Reliability and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
