Experienced Business Services Tax Manager to join a mid-tier, multi-office practice with over 100 staff. This is a key leadership role working closely with 2 Directors, managing a capable team of 7 staff and servicing a diverse portfolio of quality SME clients.

The client base includes complex groups and larger entities, across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary point of contact, providing clear written and verbal advice
Producing general purpose financial statements, consolidated accounts and cashflows.
Managing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for all entities
Liaising with the ATO and other statutory authorities
Managing workflow across the team and ensuring deadlines and billables are met
Coaching, mentoring and developing staff across multiple levels

YOU

This opportunity will suit a confident Manager who enjoys leading people while remaining technically hands-on.

You will bring:
CA or CPA qualification
Several years’ experience in public practice (business services & tax)




A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating at Manager level
Strong technical knowledge across accounting, tax and compliance
Proven experience managing and reviewing work across a broad client base
Ability to build trusted client relationships
