Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Pastry Chef to join our growing kitchen team at Catering HQ Wholefoods production kitchen.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must display excellent prep, baking and presentation skill
Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning




Robust emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
Ability to handle large service numbers providing desserts for all venues
Exceptional knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
Confidence to put forward recent ideas and humble enough to listen and learn
Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
Immaculate presentation and grooming

KEY QUALITIES
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Be flexible with working hours - Shifts are 2pm until 10pm
A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour
